How to Install Tire Stickers

Step 1: Clean the tire sidewall with acetone (for ideal/optimum results) or a similar de-greaser to remove all brake dust, debris, dirt, oil and other contaminates from the tire surface. Once the tire is primed, use a fresh towel/rag to clean the tire sidewall. Step 2: Apply an even, thin layer of glue on the backside of the letters, apply the glue to a few letters at time to get started. Place the decal on the clean, primed section of the tire and gently apply an even amount of pressure for 1-2 minutes. Post application, inspect the decal and clean any glue ‘oozing’ if necessary. Hold its position and continue applying even pressure for a slightly longer period of time. The ideal installation temperature for our Tire Stickers®️ is 72° F or 23° C. Step 3: Remove clear letter-surface protector to reveal clean letters. Apply additional, mild pressure to any areas that haven’t fully bonded. Let the stickers dry for approximately an hour. Strictly avoid using any oil-based tire shine. Also avoid any chemical intensive car washes as well as clamps that grip the wheel or tire. These specialized raised rubber Tire Stickers®️ can withstand daily driving, track days and extreme weather conditions. Avoid contact with oil-based tire care products and clean the raised rubber surface once a month for a long-lasting impression.

Can you make custom logos or designs for my tire letter kit?

There are no design limitations with Tire Stickers! Whether you are looking for raised white lettering style, billboard style, white walls, custom logos, brand names, hashtags or a social media handle.

What colors are Tire Stickers available in?

Permanent raised rubber lettering kits are available in white, red, blue, yellow and neon green.

I'm having trouble getting the letter kit to stick, what's going on?

The most important step is the tire preparation. You may think the tire is clean but oil and dirt are difficult to remove, even new tires have to be thoroughly cleaned! Proper cleaning will ensure a successful bond. Customers with raised lettering or 'ribs' on the tires also may face challenges. These areas require using a credit card or similar object to apply pressure in areas that are too narrow for your finger pressure. Without a contact surface, the decal cannot bond!

How do I clean my lettering kit?

The Permanent Raised Rubber Letter kits are designed to be cleaned after discoloring from rain, tire shine, snow, dirt, etc. This can be done using a standard whitewall cleaning agent, dirt and oil remover or acetone / rubbing alcohol.

How Long does it take to deliver my Tire Stickers

It depends on the design, The Normal Brand Names will ship within a week where as custom designs can take up to two weeks to dispatch
